Coolah Health Service is a MPS with 27 beds comprising of 10 nursing home high care, 7 acute, a busy 24 Emergency Department. Coolah has a GP with visiting rights. The RN must be able to work independently as she/he will be the only RN on duty working with an EN.

Coolah has a population of 900 and the surrounding district covers rural agriculture. The base referral hospital is Dubbo. There is an Ambulance Station on site. The staff accommodation is situated onsite and has single rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Coolah is a short distance to the Warrumbungle National Park and one hour from the conservatory at Coonabarabran.

Reasonable travel expenses will be paid and the Greater Western Area Health Service will provide free accommodation for 3 months.
