Wonderful opportunities for Doctors in Melbourne.
This medium sized public facility in outer Melbourne, only 30
minutes from the city has vacancies for Doctors in their
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT and HIGH DEPENDENCY and SHORT STAY
UNITS. Positions are for 12 months minimum and commence
in January 2005 and July 2005.

Construction of a new state of the art emergency department
at the Hospital is nearing completion. This new department will
consist of 27 ED cubicles co-located with an eight-bed short stay
unit and eight bed CCU/HDU.
The ED is accredited emergency medicine training by the Australasian
College for Emergency Medicine, including six months accreditation for
advanced ED training.
The ED sees 37,000 patients per annum. Paediatric presentations
represent 30% of all ED attendances. Admission / transfer rate for
all patients is about 18%.
