Forbes Health Service requires an RN/RM ASAP for 3 months, this person will at times have to have a general medical /surgical workload.

Forbes Health Service has 30 beds incorporating ED, Obstetrics, surgical, medical services, 2 HD beds and a theatre. There are approximately 100 births per year. Medical Imaging, Pathology and pharmaceutical services are also available.

Forbes is situated 2 hours from Dubbo, 1 3\4 hours from Bathurst, 1 1/2 hours from Orange and 4 hours from Sydney.

Forbes Shire is located within the central western slopes of New South Wales with the town of Forbes as the major urban centre. Forbes provides a pleasant growing rural environment with an active commercial base. Sporting, recreation and education facilities are also well catered for.

The accommodation consists of nurse's home-style accommodation and meals can be order in the dining room of the hospital for a small fee.

Reasonable travel expenses will be paid and the Greater Western Area Health Service will provide free accommodation for up to 3 months.
