We currently have a client seeking General Practitioners to work in the City of Bendigo.
This unique management company grants sovereignty to Doctors of their own practices where Doctors are contracted to the centre. This model avoids the risk of interference in any clinical decisions that need to be made by practitioners. Suggestions for equipment or other matters that may be of use in further developing the centre are welcomed by the management company, examined for financial viability, and introduced wherever possible.
Facilities available in Bendigo include but are not limited to: Latrobe University, Girton Grammar School, Public schools, Bendigo Airport, Bendigo Health Care Group (base hospital), St. John of God (private hospital), parks and gardens, Capital theatre, Bendigo Cinemas, Bendigo Art Gallery, shopping centres, banking and financial institutions.
The city is situated on the Calder Highway which provides a link via the Transurban freeway and the divided highway between Melbourne and Central Victoria. Apart from bus services, V-line has recently upgraded rail services, the Fast Train with modern rolling stock now linking both cities. The distance from Bendigo to Melbourne is approximately one and a half hours travel by road or rail.
Our Client - The building is well maintained and most areas have been refurbished in the last four years. The corporate architects, Cartwright & Hughes are regularly consulted with respect to continued development in keeping with the rapidly developing area. Future plans for the centre are displayed in the foyer adjacent to the lift. The facility provides access for patients is a manner allowing wheel-chair access from cars arriving at the centre to any area of the building without patients leaving their wheel-chairs. The center is accredited and will be re-accredited again within the next six months.
The centre contains a pharmacy offering unit dose packaging of prescription drugs, Methadone program for treatment of substance abuse, Home medication reviews, an extensive range of both prescription drugs and O.T.C. medications and access to drug information in house. Two pharmacists are employed and are easily accessible at all times.
