Justice Health provides health care to patients in correctional facilities across the state and in the new Forensic Hospital at Malabar. The forensic hospital occupies spacious grounds. The low-rise buildings create a relaxed feel with walking and cycling tracks traversing the campus. The facilities and grounds have been designed to support the diverse clinical needs - from patients who may require short-term care to those who will be in this facility for many years.

We are looking for full time or part time GP's who would like to "make a difference".

Opportunities exist for doctors who like the challenge of working with disadvantaged people with multiple medical, psychiatric and social problems. Doctors have the opportunity to treat people with significant pathology in a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities for undertaking research and public health may also exist. Doctors employed by Justice Health do not have to worry about the intricacies of modern private practice administration, and work reasonable hours for good remuneration. (Applicants with FRACGP or FACRRM may be eligible to be employed as staff specialists).
