DRINKS IN BRISBANE

Alison, Michelle and Vicky from the UK will be working in Brisbane for 12mths.

On Wednesday 24 April 2002, HealthStaff Recruitment’s Joey Cooney (Melbourne Office), Vanessa Graham (NZ/London Office) and John de Haard (Brisbane Office) met with some of our nurses at the Stamford Plaza in Brisbane. These nurses have been recruited by HSR and are now working in Brisbane. It was great opportunity for everyone to meet and share experiences and travel tales.

Dear Joey,
You guys are great! From the moment I made contact with HealthStaff Recruitment you were on the ball. Within a week I had a position lined up for myself in the city of my choice. I was a little nervous working fro my first agency, but Joey always made me feel at ease.
Now I have commenced my contract and am really enjoying it. It's great that you guys keep in touch and I am looking forward to the get together next months.
I have no hesitation in recommending your agency to any other nurses I meet. Thanks a lot you guys!

Regards,

Lydia, RN

LIFE IN THE TROPICS AND TOWNSVILLE

Who says you can’t always get what you want? In Townsville, it’s served on a platter. Townsville and nearby Magnetic Island give you the ‘lost in paradise’ feeling that put Queensland on the map in the first place. Far from being a ‘hick’ country town, Townsville, North Queensland’s largest city, is a thriving centre of activity that somehow manages to combine convenience, class and style without losing its tropical cultural heritage and knockabout charm, just check out the pubs in town.

There’s something very fishy about the tropics.

You can do everything from skydiving, jetskiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, swimming, visiting museums and wildlife parks, dance on the beach, watch basketball, meet many different people and ride horses. And just as importantly, you can do nothing here too. For information on attractions check out www.townsvilleonline.com.au
