Established in 1897, St John of God Hospital Subiaco is a world class facility with a special focus on providing a warm and welcoming environment. The Hospital's nursing caregivers are well recognised for their ability to combine compassionate, patient focused care with the highest levels of clinical excellence. Today the Hospital has over 500 beds and provides a wide range of clinical specialities and easy access to a range of on-site diagnostic services including radiology, pathology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and two cardiac and vascular intervention laboratories.
The Subiaco Clinic supports the Hospital with medical consulting rooms, a combined Operating Suite and Day Surgery Unit and a state-of-the-art Conference Centre. The Clinic also provides a primary care unit comprising a GP After Hours service, Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy and a Retail Pharmacy.
The Bendat Family Comprehensive Cancer Centre is a new addition to the Hospital providing patients with the best 'coordinated' treatment for cancer in a pleasant environment and under one roof. The Centre includes a dedicated oncology ward, day chemotherapy suite, brachytherapy suite, pathology services, endoscopy unit, consulting suites, research facilities and complementary therapies.
