The clinic performs interventional procedures including FNAs, core biopsies, vacuum assisted biopsies and wire localisations.

Positions are available for Radiographers & Sonographers who have experience in or would like to develop a specific interest in the field of breast diagnosis.

Training will be provided as necessary for the successful applicants.

Cardiac Radiographer

The purpose of this position is to provide full time imaging services in the Cardiac Catheter Theatre.
This is a full time position of nominally eighty (76) hours per fortnight, plus participation in the On Call roster. Salary from $60,000. Candidates with no experience in a Cath Lab will be trained by the hospital.

Part Time (30 hours per week) Sonographer - Adult, Womens and Childrens Health Service
The position involves performing a range of ultrasound examinations for both children and adults. Prior paediatric experience is desirable but not essential. Salary $35,00 p/h

Sonographer - Paediatric Radiology
The position, based in the Children's Hospital, involves performing ultrasound examinations on children from neonates through to teenagers. Prior paediatric experience is desirable but not essential. Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum

Radiographer - Adult, Womens and Childrens Health Service
Mater's Medical Imaging Departments cater for General, Paediatric, Neonatal, Mobile, and Operating Theatre Radiography; Fluoroscopic Procedures, Mammography, OPG, Ultrasound, CT and MRI. Salary range: $48,000 - $60,000 per annum

Radiographer - Paediatric Radiology
An opportunity exists at the Children's Medical Imaging team. This position involves performing a range of x-ray examinations on children from neonates through to teenagers. The successful applicant will also be required to perform adult radiographic examinations on a rotational shift work basis. Prior paediatric experience is desirable but not essential. Salary range: $48,000 - $70,000 per annum

Radiographer Cardiac Catheter Laboratory
Brisbane

Our client's state of the art Cardiac Catheter Laboratory conducts a variety of vascular and cardiology procedures, such as Percutaneous AAA, ASD/PFO closures and septal ablations, and is currently seeking motivated individual to join the team.

Our client is looking for an experienced radiographer to work as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications are:

• B App Sc (Medical Radiation Technology) or equivalent qualifications in MRT recognised by the Australian Institute of Radiography.
• Registered with the Queensland Registration Board.
• Provisional accreditation/accreditation with the Australian Institute of Radiography.

There would be an on call commitment required, hours of work are from around 8am to 6pm. The cardiac catheter laboratory offers excellent training opportunities and remuneration for its staff. Free car parking is also available on site.
