Our client is eeking a Director of Nursing, Disability Services for their Fullarton Street facility in Adelaide

  1. The focus of the position is on reviewing services in preparation for the NDIS roll out and the impact of
    moving to an individualised funding mode
  2. The role is based in Fisher Street Fullarton
  3. Contract for 9 months to cover long service leave
  4. Remuneration $134,000 on an annual basis + car park

The role has operational oversight of the 100 bed Fisher Street facility which provides long stay residential services to adults with acquired brain injury and people with progressive neurological conditions.  There is approximately 200 staff made up of 150 nurses and 50 support workers.

Enrolled Nurse postion in Laverton, Western Australia

Our client is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to commence at Laverton for a 3 month Contract

Laverton is 360km from Kalgoorlie and the last hospital before Alice Springs. They have a small general store,
a hotel, a post office, a petrol station, a school, a police station, a tele-centre and a tourist centre.
Population is approx. 350-500, as it is very up and down due to a large transient indigenous population.

The hospital has 8 beds ( aged care, acute admissions including both adult and paediatrics as required)
they have an A&E department that they also run out patients from. There is only an EN and an RN on each shift .
The hospital has a private GP practice on and the GP is on call for emergencies 24/7.
Accommodation available in Nursing Quarters (on site) There is only a bus service to Kalgoorlie and Perth, and flights to Perth.

Diabetes Nurse Educator Position in Alice Springs

JOB DESCRIPTION

In coordination with other members of the Healthy Living NT education team and other members of
the multidisciplinary team, as an experienced diabetes nurse educator;

  1. provide expert delivery of safe and effective evidence based clinical care and effective education
    to people with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, GDM, IGT). Key operating areas include;
  2. Urban and remote aboriginal clinics
  3. Newly referred patients (group and individual sessions),
  4. General diabetes clinic (group and individual sessions),
    Gestational clients,
  5. act as a resource, organise and deliver educational programs to other health professionals
    including Aboriginal Health Workers, remote area nurses, practice nurses and GP’s, including
    accredited courses.
  6. Overseeing the identification and the development of diabetes educational resources, particularly
    for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their health professionals.
  7. All performance and conduct of duties shall be carried out in accordance with the principles of best
    practice, and in line with Healthy Living NT’s Guiding Values and objectives identified in Healthy
    Living NT Strategic Plan.
