Orange Base Hospital
Orange Base Hospital Renal Unit is a modern and spacious unit which currently dialyses 24 patients per week. It is equipped with brand new Frusenius 2008 machines and is supported by a Nephrologist and Clinical Nurse Consultant. OBH perform acute and chronic dialysis and operate Monday to Saturday inclusive. The RN will be required to work morning and afternoon shifts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday and Saturdays will be morning shifts.
Orange Base Hospital has 180 beds and a major rural referral hospital providing a wide range of services to the communities in the central and western parts of mid west New South Wales.
Orange has a population of approximately 38,00 and is situated 3 1\2 hours west on the Great Western Highway from Sydney. Reasonable travel expenses will be paid and the Greater Western Area Health Service will provide free accommodation for 3 months in the Nurses Quarters with a 50% reduction thereafter.
